Kathmandu. The CEOs of the life insurance companies have formed the Life Insurance Association by bringing together the life insurance companies. The district administration office gave the registration certificate to the association led by the chief executive officer of Surya Life Insurance Company, Shivnath Pandey.
Met Life CEO Nirmal Kazi Shrestha is the vice-chairman of the 9-member ad-hoc committee, Nutri Paudel, the CEO of Citizens Life is the secretary and Pravin Raman Parajuli, the CEO of Reliance Life is the treasurer. The working committee members are Kavi Prasad Pathak, administrator of National Insurance Institute, Narayan Bavu Lohani, CEO of Reliable Life Insurance, Prakash Khatri, Deputy CEO of Jyoti Life, Rajkumar Aryal, CEO of Sun Nepal Life, and Manoj Kumar Karn, CEO of Union Life.
They have also discussed with the officials of the insurance committee for the future strategy. They have prepared to move forward by creating a code of conduct that will make the life insurance market orderly, transparent and competitive. Life insurance companies came to the conclusion that life insurance companies will unite after the takeover of life insurance companies in the insurance association.
The CEOs of all the 19 companies established Jeevan Bimak Sangh under the leadership of Surya Life CEO Shivnath Pandey after extensive discussions.
