Sathikraj Poudel has been elected as the president of Life Insurance Association. A new working committee was elected under the leadership of Paudel at the annual general meeting of the association held on Friday. Poudel is the Chief Executive Officer of Citizen Life Insurance.
Similarly, Praveen Raman Parajuli was elected as the vice president of the association. Parajuli is the Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Life. Pravin Bikram Khatri, Chief Executive Officer of Jyoti Life, Dinesh Lal Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer of Asian Life has been elected as the Treasurer of the Association.
Similarly, LP Das, Chief Executive Officer of LIC, Kavi Phuyal of IME Life have been elected as executive members. Similarly, Narayanbabu Lohani of Reliable Life has also been elected as an executive member. Currently, there are 19 life insurance companies operating in Nepal.
